Can someone tell me if Michael Pearce was playing yesterday? He came with a big reputation. The forward who went off at half time and came back on later in the 2nd half played well but his strike partner was ineffective

According to my stats, yesterday was the 3rd game running that Parbold failed to score with the last player to put the ball in the net, bo other than a central defender in Lee Tirrell. More worrying though is the fact that our 2 centre forwards i.e. Heeley/Pearce, have only scored in only 1 of our previous 8 fixtures. They both grabbed a goal apiece in the home defeat to Woodhouse.
To me its obvious were the problem is and this needs to be adressed ASAP. Bristow/I.MacKenzie strike partnership !

in my defence i was clearly a marked man and was targeted by their 'hatchet man',who took it upon himself to leave me crocked with a disgraceful challenge from behind
the goals will begin to flow again,sooner rather than later

Even with a "Sports Hernia" all last season I still managed to be top scorer for the 4th season in a row is that another record statto??
Its up to the remaining striker(s) to show their worth as I may be out of action although I intend to play through the pain. Quote from the Woodstreet centre half "that number 11 done me a few times and was a handfull!

In my diagnosis; sports hernia is commonly known as another name - that name is "an excuse".they tend to be brought on when things arent going too well for an individual (although generally not overnight as appears to be the case here) - like maybe when he couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo and has gone 8 without scoring!!!!!!!! there is no cure for an excuse only retirement and replacement by a better forward (Tom?) (Jeff?) (Lupton?)
