I have been keeping an eye on Parbld for a long time, and have actually had the pleasure of pulling on the strip during the days of Phil Musedale, Nick 'Cazzy' Carrington and of course Woods Snr.
I have just discovered this website whilst in work and am delighted to see the club doing so well (In the 3rd division??? Weren't Parbold in the 1st not so long ago???) It looks as though the league is a distinct possibility.
When I have been watching, Parbold have been, in essence, nothing more than a team which makes up the numbers. With a trophy so close, I'd just like to say well done to the boys and I'll keep an eye on proceedings to see if the league comes home.
