1. Jay McFarlane (7). Couldnt fault him for any of the goals.
2. Dave Noble (6). Yet again lost his head and it cost the team. Gave away a needless free kick for the second goal and talked himself foolishly into the book.
3. Paul Jones (6). Struggled in possession, not at his best.
4. Lee Tirell (4). A mistake to start him as he wasnt fit, and he lasted only 15 minutes. Still playing below his usual high standards. (withdrawn)
5. Neil Hardman (6). His mistake lead to the opening goal. very rarely has a bad game, but yesterday was an exception.
6. Lee Commander (6). Kept going for the 90 minutes with no real reward.
7. Michael Pearce (6). Played out of position and never looked comfortable.
8. Stewart Furlong (8). Man of the match. Stood out along with Alan Reddin as the only player who would fight for everything and never give up. He is the clubs best player because of his attitude.
9. Jason Heeley (6). Failed to have any shots worth mentioning.
10. Jeff McFarlane (6). His goal drought continues. Still tries hard but it just isnt happening for him at the moment. (withdrawn)
11. Peter Duffy (7). One of the few Parbold players who looks comfortable on the ball. Faded badly towards the end.
12. Alan Reddin (8). An early replacement for Tizzer and settled in well. He will be pushing for a start on Thursday.
14. Billy Bristow (6). Played the last ten minutes and touched the ball once.
15. David Heeley (6). A 90th minute replacement.

I think Neil Hardmans performace can be excused bearing in mind his circumstances (i.e playing with a split ball bag)
