Right lads,

I know we are all feeling a bit down in the dumps following recent results, but chin up, I am sure the results will turn for us soon enough.

Anyway, are there any plans a foot for a tradional Xmas booze up? A good night out will do us all good.

Ideally a Saturday night when there is no game on Sunday, but then again we may all play better hungover!

Any suggestions?

The night out has been penned in for December 8th, principly so that Pearce can't come as he's in Vegas. I hear on the grapevine he's looking at a lucrative move to the USA to boost soccer popularity over there. The same source told me that Gridiron helmet sales have also sky rocketed as soccer fans are now anticipating many shots heading powerfully towards them.

Someone high-up in the South Lancs Counties boardroom also contacted me regarding our captain. Apparently, he's still at William Fosters trying to run back after heading up for a corner on Sunday. Has anyone seen or heard from Tizzer lately?

And last and most certainly least is Ste Duffy. I called him yesterday but the phone rang out. He called me back explaining he had been in the shower. Anyway, I explained our result from Sunday, and he commented that we're struggling to score. I agreed, and then later realised that this co-incided with his signature. Are people really focusing on the game, or are they terrified that they might catch a glimpse of 'Little Ste' in the changies afterwards?

Just a few rumblings I heard and thought I'd share.

Anyway, December 8th is the date. Get it in your diaries. And yes, we're playing the next day. It doesn't matter, we're fucking shite anyway.

Morning Gents

I love that....Rimmer has one game in midfield away from left back and away from those averagely paced / slow wingers leaving him for dead and he's now on here giving it large!!

I wouldn't mind if I had gone up for a corner, at least I'd have had a legitimate excuse for not being able to get back! I'm afraid on Sunday..no excuses I was just goosed! Im not exactly a fit and healthy 31 yr old ye know!!!

31 I hear you say!! Yes thats right boys...my looks betray my real age.

Anyway...was Ste OK for shower gel when he was in the shower....its just that last time he had a small accident with it in his bag just as some lad came in holding bog roll and asking if we a had a bog at Alder Lane - apart from the pitch obviously. Not sure what he was getting changed in but Ive never known any freight containers come fitted with fuc*ing toilets before!

Is the booze up in the stocks and is it a race night? If so, Gus make sure you bring your granddad. I want to outbid him for a horse and get my own back for last year!! Or maybe I will succumb to guilt again about outbidding a pensioner and let him have it! No doubt it would romp home if he has it and come last if I outbid him!!!
