Would anybody be interested in a friendly with "The Tanner"??
They have started the friendlies already to get ready for the season, i suggest we do the same!

i texted big jay before and he was in agreement that we start them about july 20th,give us a few weeks training first.jeff is gonna text people re training in the next few days.definitely arrange one v tanner though cos it will be a decent game and its better to play the likes of them than teams who were never gonna play competitively ie kingston and luptons mates XI.....tanner will be ideal opposition/fodder.get your bites to speak to jay

Just to confirm that footy training will start next Thursday at Sandy Lane in Lydiate starting at 7.30. Directions are as follows, go past maghull town hall over the hill onto Northway past the petrol station, get to the lights at the square, go straight through past the second petrol station (shell) and turn left at the lights onto Kenyons Lane, then across the road onto sandy lane and the field is on the right. I'll go to JJB today for some new footys and see you there.

What will this 'training' involve?
I find it funny that we are back in training ahead of the professionals!

Shuttles, sit ups and hill runs. No ball work until November.
Also I've been approached by caledonia for a friendly later in the pre-season. They know we won't be fit(ter) until end July and are happy to wait. They'll be in touch.
Caledonia and Makerfield (I think that's their name) have joined forces for next season.

I am trying to arrange a game for this Sunday. Just waiting for the other team to get back to me. They said they would let me know by Tuesday night.
I will knock at this fella's door later and try and let everyone know asap.
