It was my pleasure Tiz. Might I add that if Lee had played it along the floor, I could have feed Pearce to miss.
I think today has got to rank up there for Michael 'Blunderbus' Pearce and his inept finishing. How many chances did he actually have today? 2? 3? To much partying Pearce, I'd put in a few sessions on the training pitch rather than the alehouse.
Also for Tizzy's venture forward was a pointless affair, and Jeff losing the plot at the end.

In my defence - when I ventured forward...i think our midfield were just twatted off the fact that someone had made a forward run ahead of them for once!

a competent display by myself, all that was missing was the goals....admittedly a problem seeing as i am a striker!the goals will come...and then comes the glory....then comes the money...and then comes the ladies

Hi all, i was in attendence on Sunday and thought that Parbold huffed and puffed to a comfortable victory. My star Man was David Heeley, as he scored a neat goal and was involved throughout. My wooden spoon hero has to be Michael"Dirk" Pearce. He done everything right outside the box, but fluffed at least 4 golden chances. Als the stats show that the final goal has been awarded to Danny Murray and is not an own goal. Also for the record, Mark McNally notched up his 7th man of the match award on Sunday. Mike Woods holds the record for most MOM'S in a season with 11. Me thinks young Macca could smash this record

Today!!! Quality performance boys....each and every person played sound so well done.
On a side note - sitting at the computer about 5 minutes ago I got a twinge of cramp again this time in my right thigh....I jumped up dead quick as ye do....fucking monitor went for a burton and my bottle of pepsi everywhere! Brilliant!
Paul - if you'd done your job and given me more protection I wouldn't be in this mess! Easiest position on the pitch? In the words of Jim Royle..."my arse!!"

I believe the facts are as follows:
Paul Mackenzie off the pitch - score was 2-2.
Paul Mackenzie on the pitch - score was 3-1.
Also, I heard from a Parbold resident this morning that the post is still rattling after my blockbuster effort in the second half. It goes without saying that my knee is the size of a planet this morning!
Was also quite surprised that in a game of such magnitude our captain saw fit to take himself off. What sort of example does it set to players? Everybody sing along..
WHEN THE GOIN' GETS TOUGH TIZ GETS GOIN' WHEN THE GOIN' GETS ROUGH TIZ GETS GOIN'
Great news about the monitor as well Skip, nothing more annoying than a spilt drink.

Paul...let me be the first to congratulate you on turning up for 2 consecutive weeks! What's up.....your bird on holiday or something! Anyways for a SUBSTITUTE you certainly make a lot of noise! You're not exactly speaking from a position of strength here ye know! Quick recap on the past 2 weeks....2 comical SUBSTITUTE appearances including one spazzy header! Nuff said. Make sure you watch out for the splinters from the bench....Pearce said they can be a right pain in the arse. It's that long since I've been on the BENCH as a SUBSTITUTE that I can't offer my own opinions I'm afraid. Knee the size of a planet??....Call me a sceptic but I assume thats your excuse in the bag already for missing this coming sunday?? Prove me wrong Paul, prove me wrong! I was going to post some suitable song lyrics for you such as those to classic songs such as "ABSENT FRIENDS" or "BE HERE NOW" or "WHERE ARE YOU NOW" or "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN" but I couldn't decide on which one as they all seem to fit the bill!

Well FF4RESV (if that is your real name?) let me say this ... shut up.
Nice one Paul.
Thankyou.
On another point, has anyone seen the teams left in the cup? Not being funny, but we're in with a big shout there.
