Messages at 5.04pm, 5.06pm and 5.07pm from independent, anonymous Pearce lovers, followed at 5.08pm by Mr Pearce himself.
If Pearce has to create secret identities to big himself up then he should be dropped until his ego has deflated.
I'm off to brush my muzzie.

Hi all Statto is still here, and now it is time for my rant.
Just quickly on the money thing, yes it was a mistake by us all, we are all grown men capable of paying £3 each week, so now lets move on.
In recent weeks Parbold's form has seen us go on a good run, with impressive results aswell as performances. Unfortunatley we slipped up on Sunday, but despite a below par display, it was no were near our worst of the season. Caledonia were a physically stronger and older outfit than us and deserved to win, but Parbold showed enough, to suggest that the semi final is most certainly winnable, although it wont be easy.
This season has saw retirements and semi retirements from several high profile and experienced players. The Jones, MacKenzie, Duffy trio alone can boast nearly 600 appearances between them. Through Hardman and Gus into the mix and you can see that the clubs personel is changng rapidly.
We started with four 18 year olds on Sunday, who are playing open-age football for the first time (or some might have limited experience). These youngsters are what the club has been crying out for, and they have fitted in exceptionally, but they are not going to create success overnight. Wayne Law for example has to play with the added prressure of being are most influential player, and yet Sunday saw only his 11th appearance. Also it is worth mentioning that Jay McFarlane helps us out hugely every week by putting on the keepers gloves. Lets not forget that he is playing out of position, he is after all a defender, and his brother Jeff, shouldn't really be playing after several serious injury/health issues. These are all reasons as to why we arent the best team, but make no mistake we are still a very good team.
The signs are that there is massive potential at Alder Lane, but lets not get to down and over-react to a single defeat. The club is now looking very healthy, as we can still provide a strong and plentiful subs bench.
We might not reach the final and finish the season without any silverware but lets be positive and just be relieved that the club is still going forward, with a newer, younger generation coming through.
I love Parbold FC and await every game with excitement, and i cant wiat for next Sunday already, Up the Cherrie's.

Statto: I have read your comments on this seasons retirements and how we now have a youthful look to our midfield. I feel however that I am the man to bring a bit of experience and pizzaz to our midfield to guide the youngsters through.
It will have to be from next week though as I can't make it this sunday.
cheers
