Parbold struggled to hit the heights of previous games, but still ran out comfortable winners.
1. Jay McFarlane (7). Dominant with every ball into the box, punched well.
2. Ste Sudbury (6). Maybe rushed back into 1st team action a little too quickly. Was not at his best today.
3. Danny Murray (7). Lost his head at times and but still provides the team with much needed tenacity.
4. Lee Commander (8). For me the best he has played so far this season.
5. Lee Tirrell (8). Man of the match. Was first to everything today and never looked in any kind of trouble. He also shown great composure in some feisty moments.
6. Johhny Sheppherd (6). I applaud him for never hiding and always being involved, just lacked a little quality when in possesion.
7. Mike Pearce (7). Swung his left foot beautifully to open the scoring, and was heavily involved in the 1st half. Was starved of the ball a bit after the break. (Withdrawn)
8. Adam Ashcroft (6). Again like Sheppo, gave it everything, without really influencing the game.
9. Jason Heeley (7). Another well taken goal to add to his tally, and he also struck a post. Improved display from Thursday night.
10. Wayne Law (7). Makes things look easy at times. Scored a 25 yard belter after he cushioned a high ball superbly for himself too hit. Shown a little petulant streak after he was unhappy about being substituted. The matter was dealt with firmly by a furious Asssistant Manager Bristow. (Withdrawn)
11. David Heeley (6). Yet again let his frustrations get the better of him. His only moment of quality came with a dipping shot the crashed of the crossbar.
12. Jeff McFarlane (7). Persistant trouble maker who caused the match official no end of grief. A magnificent bit of showboating towards the end though.
14. Alex Heffron (6). Came on midway trough the 2nd half, and only touched the ball a handfull of times.
15. Stewart Furlong (-). Not used.
